When Barack Obama was sworn into office, he took an oath.

But now that he’s President, what has he done?

After swearing on a Bible to uphold the law and defend our Constitution, he’s made a shocking move: he unilaterally decided to no longer defend our country’s Defense of Marriage Act, or DOMA, which is the federal law that defines marriage as between one man and one woman.

DOMA was passed by an overwhelming bipartisan majority and signed into law by President Clinton.

But that didn’t seem to matter to Obama. Instead of doing his job to uphold our law, he’s dumping it behind our backs.

What’s at stake? Marriage, as the loving union of a husband and wife dedicated to giving children the mom and dad they deserve.
