I want a baby. Depressed please help!?
Well I am really down all the time and I need some advice and help with this problem. I am 22 and I really want a child. I have a boyfriend and we have been trying for over a year on and off because he doesn’t live close by. For this age do some girls get hormonal like this and want children? I am broody I guess is the word. I haven’t had any luck yet and I was in a 4 year relationship previous to this one and nothing yet. How long does it take? If anybody says I need to be married first and stable etc well I am stable I have money and anything I need. I am not going to get married because of legal reasons within my family where I have to keep my last name to gain another property but once I have that I will get married and my boyfriend also wants marriage. I am so depressed because I have been trying for so long yet everybody else I know seems to get pregnant first try. What is wrong with me? I have been to get checked up and they say I am fine. My boyfriend is also fine. 
How do I cope with this. Thank you all xoxox
K H I am sorry to hear I know how you feel and yes I know when my ovulation dates are and I have spent months with him on and off. Like I will stay for 3 months and travel for a week and then go back. I do practically live there but sometimes my work requires me to travel for odd weeks.
I’m sorry you’re depressed about it. Have you educated yourself on your cycle and fertility? You say your BF lives far away and that it hinders your ability to try, and honestly – trying a year only on and off is nothing. The average it takes normal couples who are having sex on a regular basis to succeed is 6-12 months. You need to read Taking Charge of your Fertility, and start monitoring your cycles. If you have no idea when you’re ovulating or fertile, then you can’t really get frustrated with it not working, because you might be missing your window every cycle.
I wish I could tell you how to cope with it. I’ve been with my husband for 5 years, and we’ve been trying *actively* (charting, OPKs, timed intercourse, meds, etc every single month) for 2 years now with only multiple miscarriages to show for it.
